Cover the kids’ eyes, here comes topless Linda, again
A Maple Ridge woman who was arrested after going topless in Vancouver last summer is getting ready to do it again, “The Vancouver Police has a sexist double standard. They treat top-free women differently than the way they treat topfree men.” 
Linda Meyer says she has been told she will not be arrested by Vancouver Police if she chooses to go topless again, “Yeah, I’m going to go back to Vancouver and I’m going to go in a swimming pool and I’m not going to be dictated to by some two-bit Police Board. My case is a test case.”
Five years ago, Meyer won another legal fight allowing her to swim topless in Maple Ridge and she’s convinced that victory sets a precedent for the rest of the Province, and possibly across Canada.
