Electric car is speeding with Vancouver’s Ballard Power Systems

Ford has set a speed record on the Bonneville Salt Flats, using a fuel-cell electric car with technology from Burnaby-based Ballard Power Systems.
The Fusion Hydrogen 999 topped 333 kilometres an hour (207 miles per hour) at Bonneville this week. It’s a streamlined version of a production Ford Fusion sedan.
