Sunset seen in my Backyard 534e

It is the common belief that photographers have to work at the right place, at the right time with the right light.
This is a sunset shot taken at my home backyard a few years back.
It may be the right time but not the right place because I had all the power lines accross the sky.
It would be much better if the sunset was taken with a beautiful landscape.

Meeting and mingling with athletes from other nations is a huge part of the Olympic experience. The historic Salt Building is a warehouse that has been transformed into the Village "living room" for the Olympic Athletes' Village. It contains numerous couches and televisions, equipment to play games such as pool, and a beverage bar featuring organic refreshments.

This little guy was having a great time performing for all the people waiting to see a show, but he stood still while I zipped off 5 handheld shots (people in the background obviously moved).

Lonely daffodil in my front yard.
Spring is close by already in February this year. However it was surprisingly snowing in the last two days in some parts of Vancouver. The temperature has dropped to near freezing at night.

Reflection Seabus Granville Island 6246e

I saw the reflection of seabus on water in Granville Island.
All I have to do is to wait until the ebbs and currents stirred up the water and let the straight lines becoming curves.
Granville Island is the famous tourist attraction in Vancouver and a photogenic place.
