During the Olympics, there's an art installation over False Creek called Vectorial Elevation, where people can go onto their website and program their own "light sculptures".

The statue of Harry Jerome, in Stanley Park, in front of Canada Place, Vancouver in the moonlight.
The statue of Harry Jerome, just off the seawall in Stanley Park, stands with the downtown area of Vancouver and Canada Place in the background.
Jerome was a Canadian sprinter, who won the bronze medal in the 1964 Olympic Games 100m in Tokyo and held the world record in the early 1960s.
The Canada Place cruise ship terminal juts out into Burrard Inlet from the Waterfront in downtown Vancouver.
It was built as the pavilion for Expo 86 and, as well as being the hub for cruise ships making their way up the Pacific Northwest coast, also contains shops, an IMAX cinema and restaurants.
The shaping of Canada Place is designed to look like a ship, with five 27m high Teflon-coated fabric sails rising into the sky and acting as one of the most recognisable symbols of the city.
Canada Place offers great views from its decks of North and West Vancouver and the hills and mountains beyond, as well as seaplanes taking off from the harbour to Victoria on Vancouver Island.
Stanley Park is a huge expanse of parkland that is located on the end of the Downtown Peninsular in Vancouver. Bigger than New York’s Central Park – which all the world’s parks are measured by as a default – it is one of the biggest in North America.
A 10.5km seawall runs round the outside, which is used by many of the eight million visitors the park welcomes every year. There is a path for pedestrians and a bike lane for cyclists and rollerbladers, meaning you can make your way around the outside of the whole park.
The interior contains the Vancouver Aquarium, a selection of totem poles, lakes and numerous nature trails, while the seawall gives access to beaches, viewpoints, statues and sculptures along its length.
Busy during the day, there are some great views of Downtown Vancouver at night as well, with many people staying out to watch dusk fall across the city.
