If you care about living in one of the most livable cities in North America, now is the time to take action to keep it that way!
The Provincial plan to expand Highway 1 and twin the Port Mann Bridge will result in more air pollution, including more climate changing emissions, and more danger from increased traffic in neighbourhoods. It will fuel urban sprawl and erode our valuable farmlands. It will cost $2 billion or more and it will not solve traffic congestion. No city has ever built its way out of congestion.
Take action now! Our “Better Transit, Not Freeways” petition and online action centre will demonstrate to the Province that the residents of Greater Vancouver still care!
