When the City gives lemons, we make lemonade stand
In keeping with CUPE picketers consistent effort to make the best of an unfortunate situation, CUPE 15 and CUPE 391 members set up a lemonade stand yesterday to inform the public about what the city and library workers refer to as “lemons” they’ve been handed by the city. Over 100 members of the public received a glass of lemonade yesterday along with information sheets and engaging conversation with picketers. The lemonade stand will be touring various sites this week.
