Sears.ca vs. Sears.com

Today is my funny stove day. 1. My stove stopped working 2. I’ve just found that the stove’s reached a gold age of 45 years-young. 3. My mom wants to visit us and she likes cooking. So it’s time to buy a new stove. But why is a funny day. For most people is nothing funny about shopping for a stove. Not for me. I was born with a gift to find fun in any situation. As I tell myself – life is fun, isn’t?

I dropped at the nearest shopping mall. FutureShop and Zellers are there and they are selling stoves. I found se stoves I love but prices were more expensive than I expected. Where can I find stoves? Sears – the best bet for Canadians. Sears is a little far from me but I could go home and shop online. And I did it – I type sears.com and found a lot of great stoves, good prices and 20% off. I was in the middle of filling out my credit card information when I bumped “Your ZIP code”. Ooop! It’s for Americans. I am in

Canada. OK. I type Sears.ca and here we are – sears website with the same layout and search box. Searching for “stove” and …  my eyes popped up. Instead of 2000+ items in ‘stove’ category on sears.com what I could see was only 12 vintage-looking stoves with legs. See and compare.

Can you remember stoves with legs? My grandma had one, her dad gave her this legged stove as a present. But it was in 19-century. We are in  21st.
